Rapid Support Forces – Statement (15 September 2025)

The Rapid Support Forces announced that they had regained full control of the areas of Kazil and Al-Riyash in North Kordofan following clashes with the Islamic Movement forces and their allied militias. According to the statement, the RSF inflicted significant losses on their opponents, resulting in hundreds of casualties, the capture of 43 fully equipped military vehicles, and the destruction of dozens more, along with seizing large quantities of weapons and ammunition.

The forces indicated that they are advancing toward the city of Al-Obeid in preparation for what they described as its “liberation.” They considered the recapture of Kazil and Al-Riyash a key step within the broader scope of their military campaign in North Kordofan.

The RSF reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing operations until all their objectives are met, while urging the public to unite behind what they termed the national project for peace and unity.

The statement concluded with the phrase: “Mercy and forgiveness for our martyrs.”
