Official: Saibari Ruled Out of Morocco’s World Cup Quarter-Final Against France



Morocco have been dealt a significant blow ahead of their FIFA World Cup quarter-final clash with France after the Royal Moroccan Football Federation confirmed that midfielder Ismael Saibari will miss the match through injury.

Saibari has been ruled out after failing to recover from a hamstring injury sustained during Morocco's Round of 16 victory over Canada. The influential midfielder had been one of Morocco's standout performers throughout the tournament, making his absence a major setback for the Atlas Lions.

Head coach Mohamed Ouahbi acknowledged the loss but insisted Morocco will not alter its tactical approach against the 2022 finalists. The manager expressed confidence in his squad's depth and stressed that the team's ambition remains reaching the World Cup semi-finals despite Saibari's absence.

Morocco will face France in the quarter-finals later today, hoping to overcome the setback and continue their historic World Cup campaign.
