The situation in Baidoa, Somalia, remains tense nearly two weeks after the latest clashes. Residents continue to face fear and uncertainty as the government comes under growing pressure to resolve the crisis and restore stability.

The situation has also deeply affected children. According to local accounts, some children are reportedly so frightened by the presence of the deployed forces that they have refused to eat or drink.
